Sharmila is passionate about helping and empowering the community to live healthy and to get their body functioning at its best. She received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) at the Asia Metropolitan University and has undergone clinical training at Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute, India where she gained significant experience in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Gynaecology.
Over the years, she has treated patients of all ages from postural problems, sports based injuries, post surgical and to issues arising from simply sitting at desk all day. In the past, she also looked after the players of Malaysian Dodgeball, Netherland Touch Rugby as well as MMA athletes for the on-field management and rehabilitation of injuries.
Sharmila believes in looking at the bigger picture, helping her patients understand their injury and address the underlying cause with a strong emphasis on myofascial release, progressive exercises and patient education in order to recover soon and reach their full potential.
