How Thread Lift Works?

Thread lift is a non-surgical facelift technique that uses dissolvable threads to lift and rejuvenate sagging facial tissues. These threads are typically made from materials like polydioxanone (PDO) or polylactic acid (PLLA). The threads are inserted into the skin and, as they dissolve, stimulate collagen production. This collagen helps to improve skin elasticity and texture, leading to a youthful appearance.

The Treatment Procedure:

You can discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations. Our doctor will assess your facial anatomy to determine if thread lift is suitable for you.

Preparation

The treatment area is cleansed, and a local anesthetic is applied to numb the area.

Thread Insertion

The doctor will make small, discreet incisions in the treatment area. Then, they will insert the threads beneath the skin using a fine needle or cannula. The threads have tiny barbs or cones that grip the tissues, allowing for effective lifting.

Tightening

Once the threads are in place, the doctor will gently lift and reshape the targeted areas, such as the cheeks, jowls, or neck. This process provides an immediate improvement in facial contours.

Collagen Stimulation

Over the following weeks and months, the threads gradually dissolve. As they do, they stimulate collagen production in the treated areas. This newly produced collagen enhances skin elasticity and firmness.
