What Is Hair Restoration

SMART Hair Transplant is a treatment that helps you to solve your hair loss. SMART is a minimal invasive procedure that moves individual hair follicles from the scalp from back of the head called the ‘donor site’ and to fill the balding area of the hair known as the ‘recipient site’. Hair loss is often distressing and can have a significant effect on the person’s quality of life. Each hair on your scalp has a growth cycle.

Male Pattern Hair Loss

In male pattern hair loss, the growth cycle begins to weaken and the hair follicle shrinks, resulting in producing shorter and finer strands of hair. Eventually, the growth cycle for each hair ends and no new hair grows in its place.

Male pattern hair loss is caused by type of sex hormone known as an androgen. Hair at the temples and on the crown will slowly thin and eventually disappear.

Female Pattern Hair Loss

In female pattern hair loss, women tend to develop diffuse thinning over the mid-frontal scalp area, whereas the anterior hair-line is relatively spared. Such thinning is usually seen when the hair in the midline is parted. It is normal to lose up to 50-100 hairs a day. 

Female pattern hair loss is caused by iron deficiency, thyroid issues, genetics, stress, hormonal imbalance, constant exposure to chemicals, excessive weight loss, vitamin and nutritional deficiencies.

5 years back I noticed my hair is getting worse, thinning and falling.
